Class of 2015 sets class gift records

The MIT Sloan MBA class of 2015 reached 93 percent participation in their class gift, tying the record from 2014. The 397 graduates—including students in the dual degree MIT Leaders for Global Operations program—gave $74,743.

Contributions to class gifts support the MIT Sloan Annual Fund, which supports student fellowships, faculty research, program development, alumni programming, and other initiatives at the school.

The MIT Executive MBA class of 2015 set a new record in giving to its class gift, reaching $518,665. All 113 graduates contributed, making 2015 the third year of 100 percent participation for graduates of the program.

Graduates in the MIT Sloan Fellows program gave $31,430 with a record 53 percent participation.

All 32 graduates of the Master of Science in Management Studies program contributed to the gift giving $2,208.

And 21 percent of the Master of Finance class contributed to the class gift. Their gift totaled $2,559.
